Day One
Saturday, September 20, 2025
Hotel pick-up and 40-minute chartered plane flight to the Bar 10 Ranch, a rustic lodge on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy the day and overnight stay, with meals and optional activities included.
- Horseback riding on a leisurely trail with stunning views

- Hiking and nature trails
- Explore the old homestead and hear tales of it’s unique history
- Tetherball, cornhole, pickleball, basketball, ping pong, roping, horseshoes and billiards
- Guided 1.5 hour ATV tour for additional cost ($118 for a driver and $72 for a passenger)
Accommodations
Bar 10 Ranch staff will review lodging options at check-in and help us settle in. They do their best to accommodate preferences, but ask for your flexibility if your first choice isn’t available. There is also an option to sleep like the ranchers do – outside on the lodge’s spacious upper deck which makes for incredible views of the star-filled sky. Regardless of where you sleep, you can’t go wrong at the Grand Canyon!
Conestoga Wagons
These iconic covered wagons are a memorable place to spend the night. Wagons sleep 2 people comfortably and have limited availability. If you prefer a wagon, place your request with ARR at least 30 days prior to your trip.

Inside the Lodge
Enjoy sleeping in a lodge reminiscent of the Old West. The 5 bunk rooms are set up dormitory-style with two sets of bunk beds each. All bedding is provided. These rooms can sleep between 4-6 guests.
Day Two
A Day in the Grand Canyon
Breakfast at the Ranch, followed by a scenic 7-minute helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon where our motorized rafts (no paddling required) and guides await.
We will enjoy our first day inside the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River with exhilarating rapids and breathtaking scenery, stopping mid day for lunch.
The day ends with dinner at our river side camp where we will take in a relaxing evening and beautiful sunset.
We will sleep under a canopy of brilliant stars. Tent, cot, sleeping bag, sheet, pillow and camp chair is provided.
Day Three
Ride the Canyon and Walk to Waterfall
After breakfast, pack up our gear and run the remaining Colorado River rapids in the Grand Canyon, finishing the rafting portion of our trip by mid-day.
Break for lunch and to enjoy an optional short scenic hike to the Travertine Grotto and it’s beautiful hidden waterfall.
We will be transported by jet boat to Pearce Ferry to exit the river and a bus will return us to our starting point in Las Vegas between 4-6pm
Finish your time in Vegas or return home.

What to Pack:
- Soft-sided duffel or gym bag, about 24”x12”x12”
- Nalgene-style water bottle, at least 1 liter, with carabiner to hook to raft
- Waterproof rain jacket with hood (poncho is not effective)
- Optional rain pants
- River shoes with good sole for hiking
- Optional pair of hiking or athletic shoes
- 1-2 long & short sleeve shirts: quick-dry material
- 1-2 pairs of shorts: quick-dry material
- 1 pair long pants: for sun protection, lightweight and quick-dry material
- Clothes for camp/sleeping
- Socks: synthetic or wool
- Fleece jacket and long underwear
- Swim attire with swim shorts
- Hat with good brim and retention strap (this will get wet)
- Bandana and/or sarong: for dipping in the river to keep cool & for sun protection
- Sunglasses with retention strap
- Waterproof case for phone or camera to take photos
- Portable battery pack/charger
- Headlamp or flashlight
- Sunblock
- Lip balm with SPF
- Small insect repellent
- Toiletries and personal medication
- Baby wipes for easy bathing
- Small travel towel (hand towel or sarong works too)
- Cash or blank check for guide gratuities
